What is parallax, and why does a clip without it look flat?
Parallax is a depth cue: objects up close shift across your frame faster than objects far away. Back in the 19th century, Hermann von Helmholtz described the rule of thumb that an object's apparent speed is inversely proportional to its distance. So an object twice as far away moves across your frame at roughly half the speed. You know the effect from a car: the fence beside the road whips past, the farmhouse further off glides by slowly, and the mountains on the horizon barely move at all.

In your prompt, name both the motion and the layers, for example: "slow tracking shot to the right, foreground branches passing quickly, distant mountains almost still". By naming foreground and background separately, you steer the model toward the speed difference that makes parallax. How do you dose the motion so it doesn't distort?
